ABOUT DIOR:

Dior, a luxury goods company, enlisted us to organize a climate education workshop for 80+ Travel Retail employees across APAC & Oceania. The goal was to empower staff to contribute to Dior's global sustainability targets locally.

Project Objectives:

For 80+ Dior Employees across the APAC & Oceanic regions, the meeting was the first of it’s kind to empower and involve employees to contribute to Dior’s global sustainability targets at a local level. 

Our first objective was to educate staff on the topic of climate change and how it affects the fashion & retail industry, specific to Dior’s business. 

Thereafter, to empower employees to come up with ideas relevant to their everyday job functions. They were organised into groups based on their markets, to discuss and brainstorm the local challenges, gaps as well as sustainability opportunities and priorities. The main objective was to kickstart local and market-specific sustainability projects that contribute to Dior’s global commitments. Employees' ideas were collated and to be taken into further consideration. 

key deliverables:

  • Design and facilitate a Climate Fresk workshop for 87 participants.

  • Provide contextualized ideation templates and roadmapping activities.

  • Facilitate group discussions for actionable, localized sustainability initiatives

Our approach & methodology:

    • We engaged all 87 participants in a customized Climate Fresk workshop, building knowledge on the climate crisis and its relevance to Dior's operations, business, and sustainability strategy. The science-based workshop, based on IPCC reports, explained climate change causes and consequences using a card-game format.

    • The Climate Fresk workshop formed the basis of knowledge about the ongoing climate crisis, which we then curated to Dior’s organisation; and relevancy of climate change to their organisation. 

    • We design the workshop’s narrative, brainstorming and activities curated to the client’s organisation, business and sustainability strategy, fully contextualised to their operations, geography and functions.

Project Outcome or results:

  • Generated 11 project ideas across climate/water, local circularity, and talent building.

  • Top 3 ideas selected for internal consideration.

  • Successful workshop delivery, deepening participants' appreciation for nature.
